Maybe, they write songs in Logic Pro and I need to have it on my studio computer here in case we need to interface. Another main reason is that a lot of clients that I work with, they also compose and write. It's just a one-time fee, a reasonable amount. That one is the reason that I have chosen to mostly compose in Logic and use that for that application.Ī couple other reasons that I chose Logic Pro to use has to do with the A, the cost. So, I wouldn't say that these other software really didn't work for me overall, except maybe that composing in Logic is a bit easier. I also use Logic pretty regularly for more composing as opposed to recording and editing and mixing, which I do in Pro Tools. Before using Logic Pro, I used Pro Tools as well as QBase, and I continue to use them as well, Pro Tools primarily.
I've used a number of different digital audio workstations over the years for different applications.
